7-10 Maggio St.Tropez...On the road again

The European Harley-Davidson party season will kick off in earnest at Golfer de St-Tropez, 7-10 May 2009 when the chic and vibrant beachfront location of Port Grimaud will host the 3rd Harley-Davidson Euro Festival.

A true adventure destination ride is next - the 18th Annual European H.O.G. Rally on 25-28 June 2009. The coastal resort of Jamaal, Latvia is the location for this year’s gathering which is the biggest event in the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) calendar.

The historic port city of Hamburg, Germany is next on the Harley calendar. From 26-28 June 2009, the city will host up to 700,000 visitors for the sixth year at the Hamburg Harley Days festival. This particular fixture is a huge urban showcase of everything Harley-Davidson right in the middle of the city and is a must-visit destination with dealers, traders and music to suit every Harley rider and fan.

The heart of Barcelona is the setting for the next offering from Harley-Davidson - Barcelona Harley Days 17-19 July 2009. The H.O.G cavalcade will be ‘painting the city orange’ with exhibitions, demo rides, entertainment and music to suit the most jaded palette.

July sees Harley-Davidson partnering with Silverstone Race Circuit in Northamptonshire, England on 24-26 July 2009 for a new event - the Silverstone Classic. With classic cars and bikes of the past, the best of Harley-Davidson and an open-air evening concert, this promises to be a memorable new addition to the Harley calendar.

For the 12th year in succession, European Bike Week - one of the biggest and most popular biker events in Europe - will be hosted by Faaker See in Austria, turning the whole region of Carinthia into a celebration of the Harley-Davidson way of life. For six days, from 8-13 September 2009, riders from all over Europe and beyond will descend on the area, with activities, music, shows and breathtaking rides to be enjoyed by all. This year the action is expanded with a bigger-than-ever Customizer Area featuring some of the best known names in custom bike building. What’s more, the European Bike Week is completely free.

Of course, the events mentioned above are not the only activities in the Harley-Davidson calendar for 2009. There are a host of even more exotic locations and events including Dubai Bike Week (19-21 March 2009); Africa Bike Week (30 April - 3 May 2009); the famous Love Ride in Switzerland (3 May 2009) and a host of National H.O.G. Rallies in the most evocative locations throughout Italy, the Czech Republic, Norway, France, Finland, Netherlands and many more - each with a unique local ‘flavour’. In addition, riders can choose from a host of Harley-Davidson approved Touring Rides from the Loire Valley, South Africa to the Middle East.
